The youth were present at "hearing #2" and Devonte got up and spoke his perspective! What courage! Way to go Devonte! At lunch, following the hearing, the youth had important discussions about all the different perspectives we'd heard and what points they had enjoyed or had opened the youth's perspective. It was a fruitful and sacred conversation!
We are now in Plenary session 2 and we are listening to an important report on the communications survey!
We have 3 "Youth Pews" and we are having a rockin' time. I'm hearing buzz of "this is fun" "we should do this every year" "i'm having a good time!"
