The Friday evening worship congregation gathered by singing songs by Tom Hunter.
Next the Christ Candle came into the space, whirling and twirling. (see video) The Rev. Mike Denten led the congregation in remembering those of our conference family who died this past year. Melanie Morrison and Melissa Woo gave reflections on the theme and scripture. Once again the young dancer carried a jar of oil into the worship space. The oil was used for the Ritual of Healing and Reconciliation.
