The Pacific Northwest Conference of the United Church of Christ Annual Meeting in Spokane voted to become a Global Mission Conference.
To recognize and and celebrate that step of partnership within the global Christian church, a special connection was literally made with Global Partners in Poland, Doug and Liz Searles. Through the miracle of technology we made promises and commitments together while being thousands of miles and hours away.

The wonders of technology! This was amazing. Great job, Ed and the rest who helped make this happen. Liz and Doug went from being faceless names to real, smiling, laughing, praying people, doing good work in Poland. I hope we can do this every year with our missionaries. Maybe even bring this technology to our local churches. It would do wonders in helping local folks connect with the wider church, and increase understanding of One Great Hour of Sharing and OCWM.
