Divesting From Harmful Banks

The hearing on divesting from Bank of America and other harmful banks is just beginning. I am so gratified that we as a conference are moving toward this step. Just as a budget is a moral document, so too is where we "keep" our money a moral question. Our maintaining our finances through institutions which act in ways that are greedy and sinful does not move us closer to the world God wants for us and to which Christ wishes to lead us.
