The Place is Ready - The Churches Gather

In just a few hours, the Pacific Northwest Conference of the United Church of Christ will hold its Annual Meeting -- our gathering of our churches, reaffirming that we strive to live in covenant with one another. This is a picture of the ballroom at the Red Lion in Spokane where we will gather for our Plenary sessions -- we will pray, work, celebrate, and dream together in this space.

I will never forget the Annual Meeting in 2003 after my wife Andy and I had been away from the Conference for 7+ years ... I was overwhelmed with the affection and welcome we received. It was as if the church had gathered just to welcome us back. This blog hopes to expand the welcome beyond the walls of our meeting place. Join us!

  1. Thank you, Jim and Tim and others for bringing us this way to share and reflect at Annual Meeting. I look forward to our time together in the flesh and electronically. Blessings, Rick Russell, Eastgate UCC

  2. While you are looking at the Annual Meeting blog--go check out pnc-clsa.org for information about the resolution process and networks.

Interested in creating a network--let us know online.

You can find us at the Annual Meeting in the Registration Hall next to the Ministry Resources table where you can see what vacancies on Conference committees exist and maybe find yourself a place to serve.

  3. The Conference is a wonderful time to share and dream together. Bellevue First Congregational is honored to bring Oikocredit to the conference this share and share how participating in microcredit has enriched our congregation. Learning all of the opportunities our conference has to share with us in other areas is exciting and inspirational.
